For the 4th year, the top acts selected for the NZ Burlesque Festival will battle it out for burlesque supremacy in the Ending HIV, NZ King and Queen of Burlesque Competition. This competition includes performances from both local and international performers, male and female, all wanting to win the crown, title and glory of becoming the reigning King or Queen of NZ Burlesque.

Featuring step down performance from previous title holder Dahlia Dangerous, as well as a special performance from 1970's Burlesque Legend Judith Stein, this is a night to warm up your voices and hoot for your favourites. Hosted By Miss Ribena and proudly sponsored by Ending HIV NZ.

For those holding Premium tickets, not only will you have best seats in the house, you'll also receive a complimentary beverage and nibbles during intermission and be able to attend the Royal Court, an exclusive after show party to mingle with the performers of NZBF and the newly crowned winners.

Doors open 7.30 pm with the battle beginning at 8.00 pm.

Purchase a Festival Pass to save money on all three show nights.

About NZBF -
The New Zealand Burlesque Festival is a celebration of all things Burlesque, with 3 shows over three nights as well as workshops, expo and an industry awards brunch. It features both local and international performers and this year will include Burlesque Legend from the 1970's, Judith Stein. The three shows include the NZ premiere of the film League of Exotique Dancers about the golden age of burlesque, a battle for burlesque supremacy concluding with the crowning of the King & Queen of Burlesque and the final show, Spectacular Tease, which will feature the event's most extravagant performances.
