The Festival has a huge variety of family friendly activities, static displays, water activities e.g. Raft Race (free to enter) and we have our own rafts - just bring a life jacket and three friends or you can build your own if you want. You can also learn to row the Dory boats and then once learnt the skill have a race for some great prizes. The Clinker and Classic Boats will be here again with their beautiful maintained boats. They will also be giving free rides around the harbor. We have a demonstration from the Rarangi Life Savers who stay on to help supervise the Raft Races.

Treasure Island is organized and run by Conservation Kids and this is where your toddlers and primary school children can have some free fun. Face painting is free of charge. There will also be the magnificent balloon creators making anything you ask for out of balloons. The bouncy castles and other games do have a small fee to pay.

The amazing Fireworks display goes off at 10pm so the children can watch and enjoy.

This event is organized by talented volunteers and has been running for 11 years.

Number 12 is 2017. So come along and enjoy a day out on the beautiful Picton Foreshore where the scenery is No. 1 in the world. Well, I believe it is.
