The Castorways (a 9-voice vocal ensemble that sings a wide range of music from jazz to baroque) are delighted to present their "Reverence and Reverie" concert in support of the "Resounding the Organ" appeal.

This concert will feature music that benefits from the wonderful acoustic of St Lukes, both "Reverence" and "Reverie". Organ and piano accompaniment.

Why should you come (besides supporting us and the Organ Refurbishment)?

We have selected some of our favourite pieces that will sound magnificent in the acoustics of St Lukes. The lush harmonies of Phelps' arrangement of "O Love that Will Not Let Me Go", the stunning atmosphere of the "Ballade to the Moon" ( and a number of American spirituals.

Our programme (not necessarily in this order):
- Locus Iste (Bruckner)
- Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart)
- Cantique de Jean Racine (Faure)
- Love Divine (Howard Goodall)
- Homeward Bound (Keen/Althouse)
- Ballade to the Moon (Daniel Elder)
- Lullabye (Billy Joel)
- And so it goes (Billy Joel)
- Unclouded Day (arr Kirchner)
- Blessing (Hamilton)
- 23rd Psalm (McFerrin)
- O Love that Will Not Let Me Go (arr. Phelps)
- O Nata Lux (Morten Lauredsen)
- Bach Organ Fugue BWV 578 (arr. Swingle)
- Shenandoah (Erb)
- Let me fly (trad. Arr. DeCormier)
- Live a humble (trad. Arr. Bagley)
