“There is good reason for supposing that the archetypes are the unconscious images of the instincts themselves, in other words, that they are patterns of instinctual behaviour.” - Carl Jung.

Think of your personal archetypes as the various parts of your personality in symbol form. Jung (and many others) believed that these symbolic forms were handed down through the ages through myths and stories. Names may change across time and culture but not our ability to identify with the characters. If I say "Yummy Mummy," "Fun Police" or "Nature Baby" you'd have an image of the person spring to mind - and they'd probably look pretty similar to mine.

Identifying and understanding your personal archetypes (because you have more than one) can help you better understand yourself, your loved ones, and most excitingly can be used to help you create the loving relationships you want.

In this fun three-hour workshop, we will investigate our personal stories and identify the aspects of our personalities that play the biggest parts in our relationships and friendships using the Pearson-Marr Archetype Indicator. We will explore tools to help recognise the talents and gifts each archetype brings us, and how to learn from their shadow sides. We will then use collage and mixed media to make a small archetype card using our own symbols to help focus our intentions for our relationships and enforce what we have learned.

Come have some fun and learn more about yourself and the ones you love!

Ticket includes room hire, materials, and tea and biscuits.
