Photographic exhibition in conjunction with the Auckland Festival of Photography - 4 to 24 June 2017.

Nestled 2km south of Pahiatua township was a temporary army camp located at the racecourse, which later provided a safe haven for the Polish children and adults, from 1944 'til 1949. They remember the kindness of the Pahiatua locals. Come share their experiences.

The Polish museum is for all New Zealanders. "GLAM" Gallery, Library, Archive, Museum.

While you are in Howick, check out the other exhibitions in the area, that are part of the Auckland Festival of Photography. At Uxbridge 'Bright Light, Soft Launch' on 1 May to 3 June and at Monterey Gallery 'On the Shoulders of Giants' on 8 June to 24 June 2017.
