We are SocialBites Event Co., Event Management students studying at Unitec Institute of Technology. We are organising a fundraising event for Look Good Feel Better under the supervision of our lecturer Shaughan Woodcock, owner of SDW Events

SocialBites Open Mic is a fundraising event hosted for Look Good Feel Better, a charity that helps Kiwi's face cancer with confidence.

Cancer patients and survivors often undergo a tremendous physical transformation owing to the medical treatment they receive, which may ultimately impact how they feel about themselves. Look Good Feel Better aims to provide the support needed by such patients, through free Look Good Feel Better classes worth $150 / individual.

Open Mic by Social Bites aims to reach out to all the lovely, talented and confident people who have it all. Bring out the best in you, and let your talent shine through with confidence. We guarantee you unprecedented support from our warm, welcoming and accepting audience.

As the name suggests, it is an open floor, and participants are free to perform any act of their preference - Dance, Drama, Music, Comedy, Magic Tricks, Poetry, Story-Telling, and the list goes on...

This is your chance to make your talent known.

Hosted within the magical atmosphere of one of Auckland's Heritage Buildings, the old-world charm of this building will be the perfect setting for you to relax, kick back and join us in showcasing some fabulous artists this Saturday afternoon.

With drinks, nibbles, and entertainment galore, all proceeds raised from the event will be donated! Don't miss out on showing your support to Look Good Feel Better. You'll be helping Kiwis face cancer with confidence.
