Join Author & Radio Broadcaster, Stu Frith, who is going to talk about his newly published cookbook Stu's Kitchen: taste bud testing.

The cookbook filled with basic New Zealand recipes like Sunday Roast, Meat Patties, Pies, Roasted Vegetables, Scones, and Pavlova are dishes Stu says "are true New Zealand recipes". Stu always wanted to put these recipes down in a cookbook and decided to finally make it happen after posting pictures on facebook and having his American friends ask for the recipes. Stu says, "I was amazed at how many Americans had never heard of pavlova"! So with his partner, Victoria, who is from Washington, DC, USA Stu had the cookbook published by a local Levin company and pre-orders came in fast from the USA.

"All of my books sold in the states except for 3 and that was pretty cool says Stu". Back home in New Zealand, the Foxton Beach resident had a successful cookbook launch at Te Takere and people who could not make the Levin Launch asked him to consider visiting others libraries to talk about his cookbook and have a discussion about what makes New Zealand cuisine so different than other parts of the world.

In 2016, Stu visited America and ate at many restaurants and homes so he is able to discuss the differences between the two countries.
