The Canterbury Film Society will offer a repeat screening of Tātarakihi: The Children of Parihaka on Parihaka Day.

Speaker is Ngapera Teitinga-Moeahu from Parihaka.

Tātarakihi tells the story of a 'journey of memory' taken by Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Tamarongo following in the footsteps of their ancestors who were imprisoned in the South Island after the Taranaki land confiscations of the 1860s.

Entry is by KOHA (donation). Seating is on first-come-first-served basis, but priority will be given to those who missed out at the last 15 October screening. (If you're one of these, please contact Canterbury Film Society at info@canterburyfilmsociety.org.nz for a reserved seat). Rating GA.

Ngā mihi nui.
