Come to Pataua North and enjoy 256 hectares of restored parkland, including wetlands, forests, surf beach, lakes teeming with bird life, estuaries, beehives and more. You are free to wander or take a guided tour. Take this once a year opportunity to have a tour of the Tahi Honey House, or visit a beehive with one of our beekeepers.

Tour numbers are limited, and all tours must be signed up for prior to the start time. Tour signup sheets and tours starting point is at the Red Barn (entry is 500m past the Tahi Cafe). No tours start at the Cafe or the Honey House.

- Bee Experience (be shown a beehive with a beekeeper):
9:15am, 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm

- Tahi Tour (a short drive through the property for those not able to take a walk):
9:45am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm

- Honey House Tour (be shown through the Tahi Honey extraction and bottling facility):
9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am 1pm, 2pm

- Forest Walk Tour (take a guided walk through the lower slopes of Ohuatahi, showcasing the stunning native forest) 10am, 12pm

- Pa Walk (a guided walk up to the summit of the largest pa in the area, subject to the weather): 10:45am, 1:45pm

There is no charge for entry or participation. Secure parking onsite.

Tahi Cafe will be open for great coffee and delicious food options. Cafe hours over Easter are Good Friday 9am - 2pm, Saturday Open Day 9am - 3pm, Easter Sunday 9am - 2pm, Easter Monday 9am - 2pm.

Bring your walking shoes, togs, hat and sunscreen for a great day out.
