Koffie Fugah is a skilled, inspirational Master Drummer & Dancer from Ghana, West Africa. He grew up in a village called Abor from the Volta Region of Ghana where traditional music and dance is part of daily life. Music and dance are a huge part of him. He undertook professional African dance and drumming training in Accra, the capital of Ghana, and has taught African dance and drumming for about 15 years in schools and to expatriates both in Ghana and abroad. During this time he has continued to perform personally nationally and internationally. He is now based in Dunedin and performs in festivals and leads workshops around NZ.

Manawataki is an Afro-inspired drumming ensemble bringing their own collective passion for West African moves and grooves to the stage. This exciting ensemble is in demand at local community events and regularly plays at Festival of Cultures & Africa Day in Wellington. Led by local creative giant Jennifer Moss, Manawataki is mega excited to be sharing their intoxicating grooves with you.
