2017 Billy T Award nominee Li’i Alaimoana headlines a line-up of top quality comedians coming to Otaki’s Civic Theatre to entertain locals.

The New Zealand born Samoan, who’s based in Paraparaumu, has recently toured up and down the country on the back of his widely successful Comedy Festival show ‘Minority Rapport’. Li’i is a comedic Hurricane, who brings a knock-out blow to live comedy with his musical/stand-up comedy fusion and his material will have audiences in stitches.

Hosted by legendary Wellington MC Ants Heath, the show also features Manawatu based comedians Nathan Cross, Tito and Sinéad O’Connell.

Ants has spent the last seventeen years working extensively in corporate entertainment, street theatre and live theatre. A fearless performer who’s not afraid of tackling any issue, he’ll have the audience in stitches with his stories and blunt assessment of life around him. Always keen for a laugh, he'll entertain and maybe even slightly educate you with stories of a life spent bouncing around New Zealand and his observations of the country we call home.

Born is Scotland, Nathan is a keen observationalist, who's able to hold up a mirror to Kiwi society and make us laugh at ourselves. Nathan has plans to make this country better, and they revolve around him gaining his residency!

In the space of three years, Ben ‘Tito’ Caldwell went from a university slacker to a married father of five children, with his most recent one being born in August. His unique family dynamic has provided him with plenty of entertaining stories and observations that other parents will empathise with. Those without kids, prepare to be educated, enlightened and terrified.

Sinéad moved to the mighty Manawatu from Auckland to become a property mogul. A Jack of all trades, she currently works as a Barber, has a background in Film and TV, and by that we mean she literally makes the backgrounds. She is often mistaken for Sinead O'Connor, but nothing compares to her. Nothing is going to stop this frank performer, Lez-be-honest.

Earlybird tickets are $15 and are available from Eventfinda. Door sales on the night are $20.
