Craig Nicholson (NZ Transport Agency) will provide an overview of the development and delivery of the Transmission Gully project.

His presentation will discuss the strategic context and historic development of the project, as well as the more recent detailed investigation phase, consenting phase, contract procurement (as a public-private partnership), and the current construction phase.

Craig has been the NZ Transport Agency’s Principal Project Manager for the Transmission Gully project since early 2009 and has been involved in the project since late 2006. Most of the construction corridor is inaccessible and therefore invisible to the public. In this presentation, Craig will show a number of photos showing the extent construction works undertaken to date.

Non-PMINZ members are welcome to attend for a small charge of $20 which covers a drink, nibbles, networking opportunities, and the presentation. Register online or pay cash on the night. The presentation will start at 6pm.

Project Management Institute (PMI) has over 470,000 members in over 207 countries across the world, and is the leading membership association for the project management profession. PMI is actively engaged in advocacy for the profession, setting professional standards, conducting research, and providing access to a wealth of information and resources. PMINZ is a chapter of PMI) and has approximately 1616 members.
