What is your relationship to the inevitable ugly, painful or confronting emotions?

Sometimes we are led to believe that there’s no place for harder emotions in our lives, that we should be able to avoid them, repress them, ignore them! Or sometimes we can let our emotions hijack us, get addicted to the surge of the emotional workout, get stuck in a lingering feeling, or start to attach especially hard ones (like guilt, shame, resentment) to our identity without realising it.

What courage and support do we need in order to lean into the discomfort of our harder emotions so that we can process them through? How do we make space in our lives to be with the grittiness of our harder experiences rather than struggling to protect ourselves - and how can we develop trust that these feelings will pass, that leaning into our vulnerability will be rewarded with a release?

Let’s come together to share experiences of healing, to build positive attitudes towards difficult emotions and to equip ourselves to turn towards hard emotions with confidence.

At CoLiberate, we love talking about what it takes to make wellbeing a priority.
