Sustainability Trust's workshops for kids and their parents will get the whole family exploring sustainability in a fun, practical, hands-on way.

Join our experienced educators for one-hour workshops at our central city EcoCentre with a wide range of creative themes from backyard bugs to recycled art.

The workshops are aimed at children aged three to 12 and their parents - fun for the whole whanau. Whenever possible we repurpose found and collected materials, but we ask for a $5 koha per child to cover other costs.

This week:
Make mini-hydroponics: Water is essential for plants’ growth. Join us to make a hydroponic system from a repurposed plastic bottle. Great for indoors and small spaces, not to mention water conservation.
