Welcome one and all to YoiFest 2017, Kaitaia's wonderful storytelling & cultural festival.

Listen to traditional stories in English, or Te Reo Maori, German, Mandarin & Russian, introduced in English. Enjoy a dance from India, & watch Lebanese belly dancing - you can join in if you like! Be part of an informal choir as it attempts to sing 'Frere Jacques' in as many languages as possible!

After the storytelling, take a break before joining YoiFest's Ceilidh, which starts at 6pm at Te Ahu.

Entry for the Ceilidh is $10 per person, or $5 if you bring a plate of supper to share. Sit and watch, or join in the dancing with music by ceilidh band, 'Raging Gael'. There will be demos by Scottish and Irish dancers and of course a yummy supper at a half time.
