Regional NZ selection for the Rose of Tralee contest.

An international event celebrated worldwide. 68 centres around the world select a Rose to represent their region at the International Rose of Tralee Festival in Tralee County Kerry every August. the largest festival in Ireland.

If you enjoy meeting people, attending social events. fashion, travel, community, this is an ambassador role. Judging criteria - personality, attitude and aptitude, charisma and character, personality, ability to communicate, overall suitability.

You could win a trip to Ireland and be one of the 68 Roses along with 68 Rose escorts and 68 Rosebuds. having the experience of a lifetime.

Enter online www.roseoftralee.ie/apply. For young single women 18-27 of Irish descent or birth. Online entries are always open, enter before 30th March to be included in the 2018 Taranaki Selection.

Contest dates: Easter Monday 2nd April Interviews & Race day. Sat 7th April Dinner, dance & Entertainment. on stage interviews and Taranaki winner announced.

Come meet our NZ Rose and regional entrants - 3-course Dinner, dance and entertainment. Live Band, Irish Dancing. Tickets at the Plymouth hotel reception. $60pp. After dinner $20 Ask at hotel reception about kids prices - Public event - All welcome.

The Taranaki Irish Club will also host the NZ Rose selection in New Plymouth 8th & 9th June 2018. See event advertised on Eventfinder. Regional Roses from Auckland to Invercargill will travel to New Plymouth to compete for the National title.

The NZ winner will travel to Ireland for the International Rose of Tralee festival in August where 68 Roses from around the world will compete for the International title.
