Sangye Khandro will offer the Concise Troma Nagmo Chod empowerment and lead a program to introduce the practice of Chod (severance) based on the lineage of Heruka Dudjom Lingpa and his reincarnation Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche Jigdrol Yeshe Dorje known as the Dudjom Troma Nagmo Chod.

This lineage is unique in that it is a terma [rediscovered mind treasure) revelation that was received by Terton Dudjom Lingpa when he was a direct disciple of Padmasambhava, the grcat translator Drogben Lotsawa.

This lineage of Chod emphasizes the method for the path of Great Perfection of Dzogpachenpo. Sangye Khandro will give an overview of the lineage and then introduce the practices for offering the body in the form of a ganachakra feast. Practitioners with Troma empowerment — or those who have samaya from other Vajrayana empowerments are welcome to attend.

For those students attending the Troma Nagmo Chod, the required ritual objects for the Chod retreat are as follows: Bell & Dorje, Chod drum & Kangling.

Chod Retreat - April 2018 $35.00 per session.
