Drop in to Te Rūnanga Tea House (Government Gardens) with the kids this week and enjoy some free cool craft activities, with fun colouring-in sheets for younger children.

These holidays we are going ‘royal’ and you can create a cool crown to decorate and wear home.

Rotorua Museum is hosting these free crafts from Monday 16 until Friday 20 April 2018, from 10am until 3pm each day.

During week two of the holidays Rotorua Museum will be running Dolores Cross Project crafts at The Arts Village on ANZAC Day (Wednesday 25 April, 10am – 2pm).

Families will also have an opportunity to weave harakeke (flax) crosses for drop-in crafts at the Te Rūnanga Tea House on Monday 23 - Tuesday 24 April and Thursday 26 and Friday 27 April, 10am – 3pm.

You might also like to grab one of our Activity Trails that will have you searching Government Gardens and learning some cool facts about the history of the area. Activity trails will be available from Saturday 14 April and can be collected from Rotorua iSite (Fenton Street) or from Te Rūnanga Tea House during drop-in crafts (16-20 April & 23-24 & 26-27 April 2018, 10am-3pm).

All entries need to be in by 5pm on Sunday 29 April 2018 to be in to win great prizes.
