Directed by Andrew Gordon.

Season: May 5 to 26

Plot: A play of considerable suspense in which a professionally discredited doctor and his sister plan to eliminate their half-brother, Colin, the cause of their poverty and misery, and to start life again in another country.

But Colin's unhappy wife is also prompted to kill him, so when his body is found beneath the broken ice on the lake, it isn't easy to know who is responsible. Janet, the doctor's wife, stumbles across some conclusive evidence, and he attempts to compel her to kill herself rather than give the game away.

In recent years he has turned his focus more towards the various offstage elements of theatre to gain a more holistic understanding and experience of the art form. He has written and directed for children's theatre and made his directorial debut at HLT last year with the new piece The Operative for the HLT Studio.
