An industry-focused discussion that is part of The Jim Henson Retrospectacle line-up of Behind the Seams events.

Meet Dave Goelz, puppet designer and Emmy Award-winning principal Muppet performer of characters such as Gonzo, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Zoot, for over 40 years, and Karen Prell, puppeteer for such Henson favourites as Red from Fraggle Rock and the worm from Labyrinth, who first started working with Jim Henson in 1980.

Between them they worked closely with Jim across a huge range of creative projects, including Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, Emmet Otter’s Jug Band Christmas and Fraggle Rock.

The irrepressible Craig Shemin (Muppet historian and Jim Henson Legacy president), will moderate a lively discussion through which Dave and Karen will share behind the scenes stories when working with Jim and give insights into their impressive career trajectories since.

Please note Ticketmaster booking fees apply.
