Bike Illuminating Workshop - Hutt Winter Festival

This workshop is designed for people who would like to pass on the bike-illuminating ideas and know-how to their community of bicycle, wheelchair, scooter, skate or pushchair users. Light your ride.

Participants will be taught how to turn wheels into illuminated wonders, ready to take part in the Hutt Winter Festival Lucid DreamBike parade.

Design toolkits will be available to take to your own community workshop and pass on the knowledge.

Suitable for adults
Limited to 20 participants so make sure you register early.

About the Artists:
Lucid DreamBike is a team of four core members, plus friends. They create bicycle powered events that aim to inspire joy, creativity and magic. Their projects aim to bring the joy of cycling and discovering a city by bike and combine that with their artistic and community engagement skills. They are a unique collective of artists in New Zealand making their people powered parades on wheels! They are Stephen Templar, Erika Grant, Gerard Crewdson and Kelvin Aris, a talented crew of Hutt and Wellington based visual artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, illustrators, performers and community engagement specialists.
