- The dance from Angola is danced very smoothly, slowly and sensuously, and with very fluid movements.
- In addition, frequent simultaneous hip rotations coordinated between dance partners, particularly in the quieter refrains of the music. and the music is characterized by a slower and usually very romantic rhythm, sung generally in Portuguese.
- It’s a slow sexy dance. Partners dance quite close. Music is generally sang in Portuguese but these days also many influence of Semba and Zouk.
