The Jam Factory team at the Incubator Creative Hub are welcoming accomplished musician Bryce Wastney.

New Zealand has produced some globally acclaimed male singer/songwriters from the likes of Neil Finn, Don McGlashan & Dave Dobbyn but national fame isn’t an accurate measure of ability and this is the case with Bryce. There’s something magic & inspirational about the underdog punching well above his weight – and doing it with integrity.

Born in the sunny coastal town of Nelson, New Zealand Bryce is an accomplished guitarist and a well-travelled singer/songwriter who has performed nationally and internationally with some of the best singers in Australasia including Guy Sebastian, The Mockers, Marlon Williams, Stu Larsen, Paul Urbana Jones, Anna Coddington to name a few.

Originally trained as a boat builder, Bryce changed tack and with an old guitar and with a notebook filled with songs began a career in music. Inspired by the music of Cat Stevens, Neil Finn & the Beatles, Bryce’s music traverses folk, country, gospel, rock and pop – always soulful whatever the genre. It’s the ideal soundtrack for the traveller and free spirit in us all.

March 2017 saw the independent release of Bryce’s 3rd album titled “True North”.
