This month’s Conservation Clinic will focus on the preservation of family papers with a short presentation followed by an opportunity for one-on-one conservation advice on your own family letters.

Family Letters and correspondence connect us to our ancestors their lives and thoughts and are an invaluable resource for future generations. This month’s Conservation Clinic will focus on the preservation of family papers with a short presentation followed by an opportunity for one-on-one conservation advice on your own family letters.

The Conservation Clinic will be held immediately following this month’s Family History Talk. The National Preservation Office Field Conservator, Vicki-Anne Heikell, will be available to offer you preservation advice on the care, handling and storage of your treasured family items. Book your spot by emailing preservation@dia.govt.nz.
