Visit NZ Parliament on Sunday, 4 March as we celebrate Te Rā o Ngā Tamariki, Children's Day, with a range of fun, engaging activities for the whole family.

Tours of Parliament Buildings:
Grab your 'Passport to Parliament' and join one of our free, 45-minute, child-friendly tours which run every 30 minutes throughout the day. Tick off the places you visit as you make your way around the Parliament buildings and get your official stamp when you've finished.

On the tour you'll visit the spots where the action takes place and important decisions are made while also learning about how you can have your say and be involved in what happens here.

Bee Movie:
Despite the name, the Beehive isn't usually home to any bees. However, for one day only, you'll have the chance to watch Bee Movie in the Beehive! There will be two special screenings, one at 10am and one at 1:30pm in the Beehive Theatrette. It's free, but spaces are limited so you'll need to make sure you book in advance.

To reserve your spot in the hive, email with your full name, the screening time you'd like to attend, and the number of seats you'd like. We'll send you a confirmation once you're booked in.

The film runs for 1 hour and 35 minutes and is rated G.

Don't forget to bring your picnic basket as once you've finished exploring inside Parliament, you're welcome to stay and enjoy a bite to eat while taking in the beautiful grounds of your Parliament.

We'd love to see you and remember, our House is your House!
