Hosts Debi & Dave Brown on their beautiful Waipu property overlooking Bream Bay, welcome Tenor, Ridge Ponini back to join friends and members of Opera North for a picnic afternoon of song and music. Soprano, Maia Mila Amosa (nee Vega) has joined forces with Bass, Joel Amosa who will add to the wonderful array of singers on the day. Audience will be welcomed with the sound of violin and cello played by students of Atsuko Fukuoka. Waipu songbird Emma Couper and singing teachers Maura & Peter Flower from Maungaturoto are showcasing some of their top young students, including the Waipu Windchimes and marvelous Sam Birchall from Ruakaka. Kawiti Waetford is running a master class for some of the performers over the weekend. This is bound to be a wonderful afternoon not to be missed.
