This workshop gives you a taste of drawing in different ways, for example, drawing without looking at your work, using your non-dominant hand, as well as looking at what not to draw. It's a fun class and you'll come away smiling and realising that everyone sees things differently and the most accurate drawing isn't always the most interesting drawing.
Suitable for all ages, young children would need to be accompanied by an adult
Limit: 15 participants
About the artist:
Fiona Thomas has exhibited in her garden while living in Spain, in the Foyer of Expressions Gallery in Upper Hutt and in the Hutt Art Society galleries. She is a casual tutor at The Learning Connexion in Taita, and regularly tutors at the Upper Hutt Women's Centre as well as privately. Her interests are eclectic but mainly she can't imagine life without paint and clay - and her dog! Creating artwork is an integral part of her expressing her thoughts and emotions and she is passionate about helping others develop their own creativity.
