Overview of the programme:

Friday afternoon:
"The Winning Formula..." - a four hour seminar with David Nottage. David has used his experience from becoming the 1996 World Champion of Public Speaking to build a respected business around building confidence in public speaking. In this seminar, he covers:

How to win the World Championship of Public Speaking:
- Confidence and stage presence.
- How to tell better stories.
- The fundamentals of presentation structure.
- How to write a presentation.
- Impromptu speaking.
- Improve your Delivery Skills.

Friday evening: An audience with the stars. An evening of fun featuring "the man of 200 voices", (1998 World Champion Bret Rutledge) plus 1996 WCPS David Nottage and current national Humourous Speech champion Maxine Nisbet.

Expect to be royally entertained! A light dinner is available at extra cost.

Saturday: As usual with District Conferences, Morning and Afternoon tea is included, with lunch available at extra cost.

Bring your club banner for the Banner Parade. Hear our brilliant Keynote speaker plus several Breakout Seminars/Workshops. See the Evaluation Contest finals.

Followed by the highlight of two District council meetings. Be present while Toastmasters history is made! See the Top Table struggle to keep to time! Elect the team you want to lead next year!

Saturday evening: Barbie Davidson will provide her famous Cabaret act during the evening dinner event followed by rock out the top pop band.

Sunday morning: "Breakfast with the stars" - a chance to talk with our District Champions and new Distinguished Toastmasters about their various journeys and challenges on the way. If you are thinking about getting your first DTM, be there!

John Quinn an International Presentologist from Audience Alive presents "Your presentations can be better" as he brings us up to date with the latest in how to present with power-point to create exciting interactive and memorable experiences for your audience.

Kevin Broughton from District 73 in Australia presents an interactive and thoughtful workshop for all those who are, or intend to, lead.

Embracing Change:
See four interesting ladies deliver informative, interesting, thoughtful and powerful talks on the changes they faced that we can all learn from.

Gavin Rugg will deliver Presenters Toolbox creating the right atmosphere for your video presentations and using the microphone to maximum effect. Gavin has a successful business filming major sports teams around the country; his experience will help us all to deliver better when we are on stage or in front of the camera.
