A blind tasting with Wellington wine-writer Geoff Kelly, with hand-out notes of 12 Syrah wines mostly from the village of Hermitage, Northern Rhone Valley. Seven of the wines will be a vertical of Guigal Hermitage, spanning the years 1983 to 2009. Guigal is a highly-regarded winemaker. In addition to the 2003 Guigal wine, there are two 2003 Hermitages from other winemakers, and a 2003 Hawkes Bay Syrah. One of the wines is rated 100 points by Robert Parker.
