If you love our food but are looking for something a bit out-of-the-box, then this is for you! It’s a chance to let your palate and taste buds explore a new cuisine. Fire and passion are the hallmarks of Portuguese cuisine. It's all about cooking over hot coals and branding food with white-hot irons. It is an earthy, peasant style of food centred on quite simple dishes, using few ingredients but with strong flavours. Think roast suckling pig, seafood, cod, hearty stew and custard tarts - it’s not just peri peri chicken!

It's time for the world to catch on to Portuguese cuisine, too — preferably with a refreshing Vinho Verde or a tiny glass of port or Madeira wine Saúde!
