Explore 21:12, the flagship wine of Paritua Winery, on a special afternoon where Chief Winemaker Jason Stent will be providing fascinating insight into the crafting of this stellar wine. You will be experiencing the rare opportunity to bottle and label this icon wine yourself and having these wines harmoniously matched with delicious food thoughtfully prepared by renowned chef Paolo Pancotti.

Long referred to as the King of Grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon possesses immense depth, flavour and ageing ability and is always the major variety in the 21∙12 along with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The Rising is an in-depth focus on this special wine where three separate vintages will be showcased: 2010, 2013 and still to be released 2014. Purposely held back to give the wine age and development, the 2014 vintage will be released later in the year. Master of Wine Bob Campbell described the 2013 as “rich, intense and complex…a blockbuster” and Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas described the 2010 as “rich, complex with fabulous harmony”.

With incredible views over the Paritua vineyard, this will be a food and wine experience are not to be missed.

Ticket includes all wine provided – wine for tastings, glass of wine as an aperitif followed by wine with lunch: amuse bouche, main course, dessert lunch.
