The New Zealand Bicycle Film Festival returns, bringing you a fresh selection of films for the 'wheel world'! Our opening night brings you the Wellington episode of Simon Morton's series Along for the Ride, the premier of a short about cycling-friendly businesses, and a panel discussion "Pedalling into the Future: Will bikes change our city?"

Celebrating all things bike we join Simon Morton on his dream journey exploring our cycling history. Half way through the trip, he's back in the ol’ home town of Wellington, where he investigates the new cool.

Then Future’s Welcome looks at a world with and without bikes, and shows that ‘bikes mean business’. This short film was produced by 'Film for Change' and introduces 'Bikes Welcome', an organisation that supports bike-friendly businesses create bike-friendly parking.

Panelists for the panel discussion Pedalling into the Future: A conversation about how biking will change our city are still to be confirmed.
