In celebration of Conservation week 2018, Auckland council parks are running a free ranger guided walk and talk through the beautiful Kauri Point-Centennial Park in Birkenhead. Learn about the unique native flora and fauna of this reserve as well as the significant Maori cultural heritage of the site.
The walk is recommended for people of a good level of fitness and mobility. There are some steep sections and steps along the way.
Bookings are essential as spaces are limited to 25.
For bookings or more information please contact the Community park ranger anna.baine@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz.
