Friends of the Palmerston North City LIbrary's charitable purpose is:
"To encourage and assist development of the library in accordance with the library's purpose, which is to enrich the life of the community by actively and positively providing for the community's informational, educational, recreational, and cultural needs by promoting free and equal access to all library resources. To stimulate greater public support and use of the library and its services. "

More detail about its main activities, beneficiaries and services are found at: http://bit.ly/2FE4fiA.

If you care about the Library's content and services, we look forward to seeing you!

The PNCC 10 year plan is up for consultation so your input will be really valued, especially as the Library "living room" prepares for its "makeover".

This AGM is particularly important as a number of the Committee are retiring.

Unless more public library supporters step up to continue the good work (such as keeping city bibliophiles and e-media and technology fans alerted to developments and great reads via the newsletter "Ramblings"; volunteering in support of the Library annual sale, and organising events), the future of the Friends will be in question. So your presence and views are important.

See you there!
