An eight car live sound performance in Te Ngākau Civic Square.

On the opening day of 'From Scratch: 555 Moons' at City Gallery Wellington, art/music ensemble From Scratch perform 'Carhorn Hocket'. For fifteen boisterous minutes, musicians use eight cars as instruments—slamming doors, honking horns and revving engines—in a dynamic sharing of rhythm.

At 1pm, following 'Carhorn Hocket', join Philip Dadson (From Scratch founding member) and Andrew Clifford (exhibition curator) for a talk in the '555 Moons' exhibition. They will be accompanied by other From Scratch members who will give voice to instruments in the show with short demos.

'From Scratch: 555 Moons' is presented in association with Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery.
