After its popularity last year, Marlborough District Council are bringing the 10m x 16m artificial ice rink back to town - the perfect way to kick-start the Christmas school holidays and celebrate the festive season (without the cold)!

Complete with music, bubble machine and a whole lot of laughter, this is guaranteed to be a heap of fun for everyone (for the big kids as well as the little ones).

Timed to coincide with the Blenheim Christmas Festival on the 13th December, the first few days of the school holidays and the penultimate shopping weekend before Christmas it is sure to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

- The rink itself will be placed in the Queen Street Car Park - please note the car park will be closed to traffic from 8am Thursday 13 Dec to 7pm Sunday 16 Dec

Opening times:
- Thursday 13th Dec: 12pm to 8pm
- Friday 14th Dec: 10pm to 6pm
- Saturday 15th Dec: 10pm to 6pm
- Sunday 16th Dec: 10pm to 5pm
- Sessions cannot be booked in advance. Please be patient during the busier times if you have to queue.

- Only $2pp gold coin donation per session. Sessions will be a minimum of 30 mins.

Age Restrictions:
- The rink is perfect for children and families but everyone is welcome.
- No minimum age restriction - skates from child size 9 to adult size 13.
- Adult supervision is required at all times.

Rink Information:
- A perfect 'taster' size: 10m x 16m
- State of the art, PE artificial ice rink with 97% same gliding capacity as natural ice (uses normal ice hockey skates)

- Skates, helmets and gloves are provided. You are welcome to bring your own helmets and gloves if you prefer but please do not bring your own skates
- It is recommended that you wear long socks and bring sunscreen and sunglasses - if it's sunny, the rink will be very bright
