Great design needs great composition. Good visual design will help your audience to better engage, learn and remember.

Everyone has an inbuilt monitor for the visual. We all know what feels right and what doesn’t. We may not be able to explain it but there is often a gut reaction to what we see and that pushes us to engage or move on.

Good design uses good composition to enhance the learning process. No matter who you are creating for, the way you compose the journey visually will determine how effective the eLearning experience will be.

Come and learn tip and tricks for:
- The basic rules of composition
- Composition within a tight client branding
- Weights and balance of colour, fonts and shapes
- How to work with colours to make your work ‘pop’
- Basics of composition for your specific audience culture.

In this introduction to layout/composition, we’ll start by looking at the fundamental rules around composing a learning page visually. Composition can be a challenge when working with tight client branding so well talk about how you can make this a strength. You’ll also learn about the effect weight and balance of colour and shape have on your page and look at how colour can enhance the learning process.

You will leave this session better equipped to compose your work in a way that leads to a better eLearning experience for your intended audience.
