When was the last time you were able to get a free haircut, get a new tattoo or get down to funky beats while live art is being created in front of you courtesy of some of our communities most talented creatives?

The second instalment of the "Mama" series in support of the Barter Barber is less than a month away. Coalesce Creative has teamed up with Syd Workshops to bring to you an evening designed to stimulate you in more ways than one. And we have plenty more surprises this time around!

The first instalment was a huge success! We wanted to create a platform for people to feel connected in a space where creativity and expression is encouraged. The support we received is all a testament to the respect our community has for The Barter Barber.

Sam and his dog Bo travel New Zealand raising awareness for mental health particularly in our men, using his undeniable talent as one of New Zealand's most talented barbers, to engage with men in areas and environments most vulnerable to mental health issues. He has been hard at work asking questions around the perceived image of a kiwi male and using his craft to promote communication around these topics that we as kiwi men struggle to speak about. We couldn't be more proud of his mission and we are stoked to be able to create a platform to celebrate his journey and raise awareness and funds to support the legend of a man.

So gather your tribe, take a sip from the communal cup of creativity and join us to support of our fellow tribesman The Barter Barber for an evening guaranteed to stimulate your monkey mind!

The evenings theme will be a Tribal African celebration, all though dress up is not compulsory we encourage you to add some tribal flavour to your outfit! We will be Face and Body Painting and providing some Nick Nacks to get you looking the part!

We ain't Lion, You don't want to miss this one, it is going to be huge.

Proudly supported by The Bastin Group, Good Buzz Kumbucha and On The Island!
