The Hororata Highland Games is Canterbury's own Scottish Festival offering a full day's entertainment with something for everyone. This is a big event with a diverse range of attractions and activities, you don't have to be Scottish to enjoy it!

Watch the professional athletes compete in the Heavy athletic events, Highland Dancing Championships, Highland Spin, Pipe Bands, and the heart-pounding Mass Bands Closing March.

Have-a-go in the Junior Warriors, toss a Caber or Sheaf, Archery, Tug O' War, Kilted Mile, Children's Colouring Competition and much more.

Discover the Children's Fairground, Taste of Scotland, your heritage with the Clans, an amazing variety of food vendors and over 100 market stalls.

Early Bird Tickets:
Are available from your local Selwyn District library or at Eventfinda from 12 pm, 1st August 2018.
Children under 5 are free.

Early bird ticket purchasers have the opportunity to enter the draw to win flights for two people to Melbourne with Air New Zealand, thanks to Helloworld Rolleston.

Family: $55.00 (2 adults and up to 3 school age children)
Child: $5 (school age, under 5 free)
Tickets available online until 9 am Saturday 10th November, cash and EFTPOS door sales available on site.

Please leave your precious pups and other pets home for the day.

Note: This is a family event, but if you wish to purchase a beer or wine Robbie's Bars will be on site. No BYO alcohol, no glass, please.
