Bring your dog and explore the Wellington Botanic Gardens! This is the final event in the HUHA Paws in the Park series.

Meeting time: 10am
Where: We will start and end the walk at the Dell in the Botanic Gardens.
What to bring: Good walking shoes, a picnic lunch, plastic bags for your dog's poo and an optional gold coin donation to HUHA.

We recommend parking on Glenmore St and walking up through the Centennial Entrance as parking is very limited near the Dell.

Paws in the Park is proud to support Helping You Help Animals (HUHA). HUHA is a charitable trust dedicated to teaching empathy to the community and providing shelter for those less fortunate animals that struggle to survive in today's disposable culture.

HUHA’s two sanctuaries are located in Kapiti and Upper Hutt so it’s great to be supporting a local charity. HUHA volunteers and dogs will be in attendance at the walk. For more information on HUHA and the work they do visit

Paws in the Park is supported by Whoop!, The Gas Hub, Mashbone, and Addiction. This event is part of a series hosted by Greater Wellington Regional Council, Upper Hutt City Council, Hutt City, Kapiti Coast District Council, Porirua City Council and Wellington City Council.
