Improvisation is an area that fascinates me. Every performance we do should sound fresh and inspired – and I'm hoping that we can have fun and catch a glimpse of this realm to bring it into our performances!

Workshop session run by Cathy Irons, a first violinist in the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. Cathy has performed in the NZ Blues and Jazz Festival, released her CD Classical Jazz Quartet in 2015 and the Quartet were recently received with a full house standing ovation at the ASB Theatre in Blenheim 2018.
