Introduction to MBTI: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator - Learn more about personality types

The MBTI Questionnaire (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) is widely used in organisations for personality type assessment. In particular, it helps people to become more understanding and tolerant of other preferred styles of communication and patterns of behaviour. This improves the dynamics within teams, reduces miscommunication and improves productivity.

This is what we will cover on the day:
- An understanding of personality types
- The workshop starts with a presentation on the strengths and weaknesses of the MBTI Questionnaire with practical examples to help people start understanding their own type.

Deciding your MBTI type
A series of four interactive exercises in order for the participants to self determine their MBTI type

What does your type mean
A facilitated discussion on the potential strengths and challenges that come with your MBTI type.

Adapting communication
Learn practical tips and techniques on how to communicate and influence people with other MBTI types.

Please note that half and full day versions of this workshop are available to be delivered at your organisation.

“It is incredibly useful to take the time to consider how different we are in terms of our world view and working styles and how we communicate. I will use a lot of what I have learnt here” - Julie Corker

“I found the workshop both thought provoking and factual in terms of knowledge. The statement about what you say versus what people hear made me really think about my messaging to my staff” - Sharyn Chow

“This workshop is outstanding. I believe I will leave being ale to hopefully solve some conflicts & hopefully make sure people are understanding how I’m coming across” - Caitlyn Lorigan

“This is a valuable workshop. I would recommend this to everyone. It will make you aware of your personality type and those you work with” - Jamie Hati
