This course will run twice in 2018

- Mondays 6:30 - 8:30PM for eight weeks starting 12 February 2018 (no class Easter Monday) (special offer for February class: Enrol two students on the same order and pay for only one!!)
- Mondays 6:30 - 8:30PM for eight weeks starting 30 July 2018.

Discover the amazing qualities of painting with watercolours with experienced artist, Charlotte Maguire. Bring your own materials and paints if you plan to continue painting, or pay Charlotte $25 on the first night and she will provide paints, brushes and paper for you to use in class if you just want to explore watercolours.

Explore the mood and possibilities of watercolours in this night class. Various trade secrets will be revealed as well as techniques and materials. You will explore the qualities of this amazing medium and discover the radiant colours that can be achieved.

Materials.
Please bring the following:
- A water container (plastic ice cream container or similar)
- A roll of paper towel
- Drawing pencil (2B is good), soft rubber and ruler
- A watercolour palette

Additional materials:
Option 1: For all other materials (paper, board, brushes, paints etc), the teacher can supply these to use during classes for a fee of $25.00 (payable directly to the tutor or at the office) .

Option 2: If you prefer to supply your own materials, please bring the following:

- Fabriano Artisitco paper, 300gsm cold pressed
- 1 x MDF stretcher board 6700mm x 480mm x 6mm (or glass with soften edges)
- 2+ selection of good quality watercolour brushes: 6 - 8, 10 - 12 (flat with a rounded top is a good start)
- Good quality watercolour paints (in tubes) in the following colours: primary blue, red, yellow, black and purple. Green optional.
