This month's film is "Best Wishes for Tomorrow"!

After World War II, Lieutenant General Okada Tasuku is on trial accused of executing the American aircrew that carried out indiscriminate bombing towards the end of the war. As his family and wife Haruko observe in the public gallery, Okada, together with his chief defense counsel, Featherstone, insist that the indiscriminate bombing by the Americans was against international law—and that the execution was punishment according to military discipline, and not retaliation.

Regarding the trial as a "legal battle", Okada continues with his testimony, intending to take full responsibility to protect his subordinates, his attitude gradually moving the American prosecutors and judge.
