Remembering the Kurahaupo Settlement: Nga Pakiaka O Te Whenua is an exhibition curated by Dr Peter Meihana - a partnership between Nga Pakiaka, Massey University and Millennium Public Art Gallery.

The exhibition is based on photographs with some contemporary art and Taonga. It tells the stories of the journey from Treaty signing on 17 June 1840 to Settlement in 2014. A variety of public programmes will be held with the exhibition.

The Kurahaupo Ki Te Waipounamu Trust was formed as a large single entity to secure a comprehensive settlement for Rangitane o Wairau, Ngati Apa ki te Ra To and Ngati Kuia.
