We're sending our natural history exhibition off in style with a huge going away party. There’ll be a silent disco, DJ, curator talks, food, drinks, and generally a whole lot of natural fun. This is the museum late of the year – don't miss it.

Silent Disco and DJ set: Leilani Sio and Jamie Berry mix up some nature beats for two sessions of silent disco and then an all round dance. 7:30 – 8:30pm, 8:45 – 9:45pm and 9:45 – 11:00pm

Nan and Tuna – Puppetry with Anna Bailey: Nan and Tuna have been friends for 70 years and now it is time for one last adventure together. 7:30 – 8:15pm and 8:30 – 9:15pm.

Crafting Nature: Oh Natural: Get your hands dirty and create your own natural skin care products. 7:15 – 8:15pm and 8:45 – 9:45pm.

Tiny Terns: Create a tiny Tern skull with award winning WoW artist Fifi Colston. 7-8pm and 9-10pm.

Cosmodome: Take off on a starry eyed journey in the Museum Cosmodome. 7:30 – 8pm, 8:30 – 9pm and 9:30 – 10pm

Science Demo Zone:
- DNA Drinks: Extract DNA from fruit using alcohol to create your own unique cocktail, then sip and enjoy, as you learn about DNA, evolution and genetics.7:30 – 8:30pm and 9 – 10pm
- From the mantle to the crater: What do Geologists hide behind closed doors? Drop in, times vary
- Bugs Life: Lifting the lid on bugs. What can they tell us about our lives? Drop in, times vary

- Joining the dots: creating a new natural environment gallery. 9 – 9:30pm
- From Moa poo to Sea bird tongues – DNA discoveries from Te Papa’s collection. 9:45 – 10:15pm

Tours with a twist: Experience an enchanting evening excursion through Te Papa’s titanic taxidermy, tremendous trees, and tumultuous terra-firma with Wellington’s most famous B-grade celebrity, Mr. Chris Lam Sam! 7:30 – 8:15pm, 8:30 – 9:15pm and 9:45 – 10:30pm.

Incursion - Weeds in your backyard: A walk and talk tour of Incursion - currently installed in Bush City with artist Shaun Matthews and WCC Environment Partnership Leader, Tim Park. 8pm - 8:45pm.

VR Fantasy Forests: Immerse yourself in a virtual reality forest and help make it grow beneath your toes. 7pm – 9pm.

Nature Faces: Bring forth your animal self and be transformed. 7pm – 10:30pm.
