Rt. Hon Helen Clark once said that women need to roll out their own carpet and kick in the door.

Join KIND Women (an extraordinarily random mix of Southland women who have been united by their desire to encourage and serve their community) for an evening with the former Prime Minister, hear about her experiences and how we can all learn from them to support, inspire and empower each other.

2018 is 125 years since women won the right to vote in NZ, yet it seems we still have a long way to go to achieve real equality.

This event will help us to consider how we can work together to make sure the journey towards equality continues, and encourage us all to kick in the doors we are faced with.
