LiDARRAS: Shedding light on New Zealand’s contribution to the War in France.

During WW1 there was a subterranean network that allowed soldiers to pass safely from Arras in France, to the front-line trenches. The LiDARRAS project is a bilateral and cross-generational mapping project that united surveying students and academics from New Zealand and France to survey and scan the underground structure. Join us for this presentation that outlines this valuable project helping to ensure its future preservation.
