MarchFest is Nelson-Tasman's unique craft beer and music festival, set in the beautiful, traffic-free environment of Founders Park.

Unlike ordinary beer festivals, all the beers available at MarchFest have been specially commissioned for the event and have never previously been tasted by the public.

For the first time since 2009, MarchFest has invited a guest region to take part. In 2018 we'll be serving new beers from Top of the North breweries such as 8Wired, Epic, McLeod's, Deep Creek, Outlier Cartel, Urbanaut, Hallertau, Sawmill, Behemoth and Liberty.

Along with brews from 12 Top of the South breweries, this will take the total number of brand new beers to 22, a record number.

The strongest music line up in years headlines with ‘the reigning queen of Aotearoa soul’ Hollie Smith. Also playing their hearts out will be world/electronica band Weird Together, Kiwi indie-folk legend Mel Parsons, Wellington band The Miltones, electroacoustic folk-funk act Sonic Delusion, touring Canadian blues/roots resonator guitarist Joel Fafard and local hi-energy rockers, The Immigrants.

Add to that local wines, ciders and juices, regional cuisine (including a beer and food matching lunch), Kids Zone and the Brew Zone, 2018 will be our biggest yet.
