At least three recent studies have suggested that Mindful Eating can improve weight-loss efforts and combat obesity. Mindful Eating also combats stress and contributes to a balanced emotional health.

Learn more about Mindful Eating – what it is and how to cultivate mindful eating behaviours. The speaker will share some evidence-based mindful eating strategies that will enhance your eating experiences.

Adrielle will also do a cooking demonstration of healthy, quick snacks which we will enjoy with a hot drink.

About the speaker:
Adrielle is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for diabetes, and she has focused her skills on education, working on various health projects in the community both in New Zealand and Australia, presenting workshops and classes in diabetes management and insulin administration, and completing a Master of Health Sciences at Otago University. She now works for the NZPUC as Director of Health. Adrielle is happily married to Dan and has three grown children.
